This series documents the stations along the train line between where I live in Manchester and my hometown of Darlington. This is a journey that I frequent and often find to be a reflective space for the memories that I have attached to each of these places. Being from a town with a strong railway history, an industry that many of its inhabitants (including both of my parents) still rely on today, this route is both figuratively and literally the string that pulls me back to my hometown.
